Our client is seeking a manager to lead the operations function for their Asset Finance product line, with day to day responsibility for documentation, booking & funding, customer services and payment processing. The role holder will also be responsible for building the team, developing a performance driven culture and putting in place a rigorous set of policies and procedures and accompanying KPI’s

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the day to day performance of the Asset Finance Operations team, demonstrating inclusive leadership, expertise and a customer focused approach in all management activities
Implement processes and procedures which support the efficient delivery of a customer centric service proposition in line with the strategic goals of the Asset Finance product line
Develop and manage a set of KPI’s which drive efficient business operations, control risk and provide a transparent view of team performance
Act as the key point of contact for the commercial and credit organizations within the Operations function, ensuring the Asset Finance product line operates effectively as one team.
Manage customer complaints in a timely and accurate manger
Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to across the Asset Finance operations group
Ensure that market, sector, and regulatory knowledge is continuously up to date both personally and within the team

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Detailed knowledge of Leasing – ideally with broad commercial finance operational experience
Experience of delivering and working in operational shared service environments
Track record of leading continuous process improvement in a financial services operational environment
Exceptional communication and people leadership skills, able to engage at multiple layers across organizations
Inclusive and collaborative leadership style with demonstrable experience of operating in a matrix organization
Ability to lead using metrics and KPI information; excellent excel and PowerPoint skills
