Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager, IT Vendor to initiate, develop and maintain commercial contacts with and provide support to the appointed vendor/partners to achieve lease penetration, new business volume and vendor/partner profitability targets

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the country market and sales plan and targets
Define and implement a vendor/partner plan and targets, compliant to country sales plan and vendor/partner agreement
Identify sales opportunities in cooperation with vendor/partner and communicate and ensure assignment of opportunities within sales organisation
Support vendor/partner and associated dealers in their business aiming at maximum exposure and knowledge of financing offering
Negotiate the take over/purchase of existing portfolio of lease contracts of vendor/partner to optimize NBV, lease penetration rate, profitability and customer satisfaction
Signal improvement opportunities during program life cycle and introduce new and cross sell existing products and services to vendor/partner
Structure complex transactions/big deals with vendor/partner deviating from program agreement, in order to meet business needs
Develop new vendor/partner business opportunities and establish a program agreement compliant with internal policies
Manage the business relationship with vendor/partner on country level, in order to increase business, income and profitability in the short and long term

PERSON SPECIFICATION

At least 5 year’s experience of IT financing sales
Acute business development skills with the interpersonal skills to establish a strong rapport with IT resellers
Proven track record of sales success; consistent target achievement of £10-15million in IT financing
IT financing experience; business development and account management skills are pre-requisites
Good channel experience ideally through resellers
Ability to structure deals c£80,000 - £100,000
