Job Description : Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to achieve volume and new vendor relationship targets in the middle ticket IT environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve volume and new vendor relationship targets
Develop business plan to deliver a strategy for prospecting new partners
Innovate and promote value added products and services to differentiate from competitors and secure new vendor relationships
Recommend risk and pricing strategy for approval with supporting business rationale
Provide launch and support presentation plans to provide partners with sales and administrative tools required to meet business objectives
Responsible for the communication of the agreed plan with other business functions
Provide feedback to the business on local issues affecting the performance of new vendors and recommend appropriate enhancements

PERSON SPECIFICATION

At least 5 years’ experience in winning IT vendor relationships
Proven sales and new business development success record
Basic understanding of financials and associated analysis including lease accounting
Proven communication and relationship building skills
Proven presentation and negotiation skills
IT literate
